OGI Minerals specializes in guiding you through the entire process, from signing the Purchase and Sale Agreement to the final closing and payment.
Our process starts with a signed Purchase and Sale Agreement.
Once your contract is signed, we run the title at no cost to you.
Complete the mineral deed and receive your payment.
We process your signed Purchase and Sale Agreement in our office.
We order and review the title report. Timing can vary with the area and title complexity.
Review, sign, notarize, and return the deed so we can finalize your documents.
*If the title requires curative action through estate or legal issues, it could extend the timeline.
Once you send back the signed PSA, it takes us only 1 business day to process it in our office and order the title report.
Our team is here to answer any questions you may have about the PSA and the selling process.
We order your title report upon receipt of your signed purchase agreement. Our landmen review courthouse documents to verify ownership. This usually takes 3–4 weeks, but can take longer depending on the area and title complexity. If more time is expected, the PSA will include a later closing date.
Our team thoroughly reviews the title report for ownership issues. This is when we identify whether probate or other curative documents are needed.
Once the title review is complete, we obtain the necessary curative documents to proceed with the sale.
*Additional costs could accrue in some instances.
Our legal team carefully reviews the mineral deed to ensure its accuracy.
We work closely with you to address any questions you may have about your documents.
Take the time you need to sign, notarize, and return your documents in the prepaid envelope for our review. This usually takes about 3 days to complete.
